South of the River Thames is my neighborhood for the week — Battersea. I’ve been walking up and down Lavender Hill Road, looking into shops, working at cafes, and eating fish & chips (which, by the way, is half the price and twice as tasty, if you get it outside of the touristy areas).
This is a great area. Very walker-friendly. All the shops, groceries, post office and other neighborhood things you might need. Enjoy some of the sights . . .
