If you’re new to yoga, some of the terminology (“What’s a Adho Mukha Svanasana?”)* and variations (Ashtanga, Iyengar, and Hatha – oh my!) can be intimidating.

I ran across this great piece from Women’s Health Magazine that clearly describes various styles of yoga, who each is for, and what to expect when attending a class.  It’s so simple and easy to understand that I wanted to share it with you.

Check it out at http://www.womenshealthmag.com/yoga/hatha-yoga and consider giving some of the styles a try in order to find your perfect practice.
