One of the things I have seen a lot, in Europe — I mean A LOT — is graffiti. Most of it is ugly, waste of time, messing up perfectly nice buildings (and some historic beautiful ones) type of stuff. Basically kids, with nothing better to do, spray painting their initials everywhere. Occasionally, it has a message (like the “love note” from Malaga, Spain, shown above). Every country I have visited — from England to Italy — was marked.

But every once in a while, I came across something more interesting, more artistic, and more lovely.  Here are a few favorites.

Battersea, London, England

Malaga, Spain

Barcelona, Spain

Heraklion, Crete, Greece
